BORN MARCH 1 1997 A bit of history on the Blue-Crowned conure Blue-crowned conures were imported to the U.S. and other countries in large numbers during the 1970s and 80s, and though imports have dramatically slowed they are now well-established in aviculture. Indeed, domestic Blue-crowneds are a bargain, selling for around $200-250 wholesale and $350-450 retail. Though they come equipped with needle-sharp beaks (we clip his beak when it is needed), a Blue-crowned can usually be trusted to be quite gentle. Buddie has never bitten any one he has had no reason to do so. These birds are generally not as rowdy and nippy as some other members of the conure clan can be. The Blue-crowned seems downright sedate. He is playful and affectionate with its human companion. He eat's 75% human food, you can not go by his cage without giving him what ever he want's, loves meat. Buddie the Blue-crowned Conure, during certain times of day the Buddie can be a chatter-box, babbling away to itself in a language that only another Blue-crowned could possibly comprehend. Buddie does have a vocabulary that you wouldn't believe and knows when to use his word. He can bark like our dogs, he does get quite loud at time with his "conure screech's"

GRUMPY HE WAS BORN MARCH 03,1999 He was in a show befor he came to our house. Since getting Grumpy did some research on the breed. Seen one and fell in love, he was bought for Jodi's and my Christmas present without knowing the back ground of the breed. The Ragdoll was first recognized as a pure breed in 1965, and originated from a white Angora- type Persian Ragdolls are born white and obtain full color at about 2 years of age. Full maturity takes at least 4 years. Exceptionally gentle and easy to handle, Ragdolls have a well-balanced temperament. Friendly, affectionate, playful and intelligent, their sweet dispositions lead them to easily adjust to other pets and people. Ragdolls will follow wherever you go, just to be near you, and can be trained to sit, shake paws, walk on a leash, give "kisses" or ride in a car. They earn their name because, like a child's "ragdoll" toy, these cats relax and go limp in your arms. Ragdolls have Personality Plus: Love to be held and snuggled Easily adapt into new surroundings, even with dogs and/or cats 'Rag Out' (go limp) when held Very affectionate and loving Quiet voice Easily trained Playful (fetch is a favourite game) The Ragdoll is an irresistibly huggable cat, growing exceptionally large and heavy, with neutered males potentially reaching 20 pounds or more, and spayed females about 5 pounds less. Full maturity of size and colour are not to be expected for at least three years. Ragdolls are renowned for their gorgeous, large, slightly oval, blue eyes and their plush, silky, non-matting fur which flows into a luxurious ruff and ends in a fluffy, fat tail. Best of all, they are a low to medium shedding type of cat, which means minimum maintenance! Ragdolls are distinguished by four colours: Seal - Points are a deep seal brown, body colour is cream to fawn Blue - Points are slate blue; body colour is bluish white Chocolate - Points are chocolate; body colour is ivory Lilac - Points are frost grey; body colour is milk white with a pinkish tint to it PET QUALITY ----- $ 600 SHOW QUALITY -- $ 800 and up BREEDER ---------- $1200 and up These price's kind of surprised me, wanted to start breeding them along with the dachshunds but decided to have a pet quality so he plays with the dog's instead.
