(The girls run down to the command center , where Artemis is sitting at the Moon's host computer.)
LUNA-It's about time you all got here. Artemis, did you upload the files on Dimension Noir? ARTEMIS-Yes, and it's not good. There are these monsters called the Dark Masters who want to take over Earth and destroy the Sailor Scouts. SERENA-But why? And why did they have to come to Earth as monsters? I hate scary stuff! WAAAAHH!!!! LITA-Serena, chill out! I still can't believe you're still afraid! LUNA-We made some new weapons to make sure that you'll have the upper hand. (Artemis walks over to a table with a sheet over it. He pulls off the sheet and reveals a new arsenal.) LUNA-We made a new brooch for Serena and transformation daggers for the rest of you. AMY-But what about the rest of the Scouts? LUNA-They have their own problems to worry about. (We cut to Celia's apartment, where Corey-in a dress- is yelling at Nerissa.) COREY-I'M BISEXUAL! AND I'M NOT GOING TO CHANGE BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOME FUCKIN' CRUSH! (The scene shifts back to the Command Center. The girls have teardrops over their heads.) RAYE-Maybe it's best not to ask for their help. ARTEMIS-Are you ready to try out your new equipment? ALL GIRLS-YES! LUNA-Serena, yell out Moon Monster Hunter Magic. SERENA-MOON MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (A new transformation sequence begins. The climatic music from Sailor Moon R: The Movie plays in the background as Serena stands with her arms out to the sides and her costume appears. It looks like the other Super Scout costumes, but instead of moons on her choker, boots and earrings, there are gold crosses. A silver and pink stick flies into her hands and she makes a pose like Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.) SAILOR MOON-No way! ARTEMIS-Go for it, Scouts! AMY-MERCURY MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (She raises her dagger and is wrapped in bubbles. The bubbles disappear and she grabs a sapphire water gun and makes a James Bond pose.) RAYE-MARS MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (She raises her dagger and is wrapped in fire. The fire disappears and she grabs a ruby-tipped magic wand and makes a pose.) LITA-JUPITER MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (She raises her dagger and is wrapped in leaves. The leaves disappear and she grabs a cartridge of emerald bullets and makes a SenGoku pose.) MINA-VENUS MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (She raises her dagger and is wrapped in hearts. The hearts disappear and she grabs a golden lasso and makes a Wonder Woman pose.) ALL GIRLS-MONSTER HUNTERS UNITE! |

(The next day at the Ginza.)
(Lita is walking around the mall when she sees Brian and AJ.) LITA-(Thinking) Hey, those are two of the new students. I might as well say hi. BRIAN-AJ, are you sure this is the perfect place to find a group of girls? AJ-Trust me. Besides, I wanted to check out these things humans like called CDs. (He holds up a KoRn CD.) BRIAN-Geez, they can't spell either. NOTE-This was written before KoRn frontman Jonathan Davis said he liked NKOTB better than BSB. This is now considered revenge. Heh heh heh. LITA-Hi! I'm Lita. I go to your school. BRIAN-Hi, I'm Brian. I've seen you around. LITA-Your friend sure doesn't say much. BRIAN-He's kinda shy. LITA-That's ok. You guys wanna go to the arcade? BRIAN-Um, yeah. (Thinking) She's cute. Even if she is a Sailor Scout, I don't want to hurt her. LITA-(Thinking) He reminds me of my old boyfriend. No, he's cuter because that jerk dumped me. BRIAN-AJ, you wanna join us? AJ-No, I have more IMPORTANT things to do. BRIAN-Oh well. Seeya! (They leave.) AJ-I'd better keep an eye on him before he turns against us. (Amy and Serena are in the park studying when Melvin comes up to them.) MELVIN-Hey girls! You wouldn't believe what happened last night! There was this mummy stalking young girls, but it was zapped by Sailor Jupiter! Did you see it? SERENA-Erm, are you sure you haven't been watching too much Sci-Fi Channel, Melvin? AMY-I didn't read the paper today, so I wouldn't know. MELVIN-Well, I've gotta meet Molly. We were supposed to see the new monster movie down at the Cinemark. Is it any good? SERENA-Yeah, but don't get too scared. AMY-(Thinking) This from a girl who spent half the movie in the ladies room! MELVIN-Me, scared? I'm MELVIN, the bravest guy in Juban! (He leaves.) AMY-Do you think he was dropped on his head when he was little? SERENA-With Melvin, it's hard to tell. (The girls hear a scream from across the park. Rush by Depeche Mode plays in the background. Hyde is attacking an innocent girl.) ANY-WHAT IS THAT? SERENA-I don't know, but we'd better find out! AMY-MERCURY MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! SERENA-MOON MONSTER HUNTER MAGIC! (The girls change into Sailor Scouts.) (Hyde is grabbing the victim by the throat, about to lunge the butcher knife into her chest.) HYDE-Now dear, you'll have to tell me where the Sailor Scouts are or I'll be forced to give you a checkup. SAILOR MOON-Threatening to kill innocent girls? That's a violation of the hypocratic oath, good doctor. And this is a patient who won't stand for it. I am Sailor Moon! SAILOR MERCURY-And on behalf of Mercury, I will see to it that you won't get away! HYDE-Pretty words for pretty girls. Would you like to meet my assistants? (He throws a berange of rats at the two Scouts.) SAILOR MOON-MOON LOVE SABER ACTIVATE! (She fries rat carcasses left and right.) HYDE-You'll pay dearly, girls! SAILOR MERCURY-Not until we find out the truth! TRUTH GUN SPLASH! (She fires the water gun at him and he drops to his knees.) SAILOR MERCURY-Why are you attacking Earth? HYDE-We're doing it so Dimension Noir will spread out to the galaxy. The Dark Masters shall triumph! (He disappears. The girls change back and look up at the moon.) SERENA-Do you think they'll ever show up again? AMY-I don't know, but we have to watch our backs. End of Episode 2-Moonlight Carries the Message of Love! |
