Mina's CD Review-"Blur", Blur Having lived in London for awhile, I was surrounded by Blur. Not so much as my Howie and the others, but it was pretty cool. I loved the funky, bouncy rhythms of their earlier albums, but this one sounds more like College Radio. Ugh! Complaint rock! But this IS the CD with the ubiquitous "Song 2", so I guess it wasn't all bad. Woo Hoo!

Howie's Movie Review-"Final Destination", R, Columbia Picutres Stars-Devon Sawa, Stifler from "American Pie", the creepy guy from "Candyman".
I know I'm as scary as they come, but this was TOO scary. This is a story about teenagers who are supposed to go on a Spring Break trip to France, only one student has a dream about them going out in a fiery blaze. He goes off the plane in a panic, and so do several other people. What they didn't know is that they were SUPPOSED to die, and death is coming for each of them. And it's not the typical keel over on the spot deaths, it's the splattered by a bus, decapiated, accidental stabbing deaths. Eww. I only advise this movie for people that are desensitized to people getting chopped up. RATING- 1 Bat |
