Sailormoon -- a.k.a. Princess Serenity, a.k.a. Neo-Queen Serenity, a.k.a. Super
Sailormoon, and finally Eternal Sailormoon -- is the sailor-suited crybaby as well as
superheroine. Though a klutzy, ditzy girl, she is heir apparent to the throne of
Crystal Tokyo of the future (along with her hubby, King Endymion). She is the
most compassionate and caring of all the Senshi, and never fails to believe in her
comrades in times of need.
As the girl with the odango-atama, Tsukino Usagi goes to Juuban High School
along with some of the other Senshi. Arguably, she is the most powerful of them all,
since she killed all of them in the Sailorstars manga. Nonetheless, the Senshi protect
her because she is the Princess of the White Moon, and is integral to the future of
Crystal Tokyo. She is also the carrier of the ginzuishou, the powerful silver crystal
which has been called upon several times (not only by Usagi, but Chibiusa as well)
to fight evil.
From a personal point of view, Usagi is my favourite character of them all, but I
also like Rei-chan too. Why do I like Usagi the best? Well, even though Usagi can
be a bit of a twit at times, she still comes through in the end, no matter what the
circumstance. She reminds me that we're only human, and even though people have
differences, she always finds a way to circumvent them. She cares for her friends,
family, and even her enemies. In the SMR movie, Chibiusa mentions that
Sailormoon is everybody's mother. I think that sums it up rather nicely.
