Aino Minako/Super Sailor Venus previously fought the forces of evil as Sailor V before she met up with the rest of the Sailor Team. If she was a little clumsier, she could be considered Usagi's twin sister; both have long blond hair and the same air of cheeriness and ditziness around them. See episode 78 from Sailormoon R (the nurse episode) for a good example. While she is a flake, and has a habit of misquoting famous lines, Minako is a very caring, loving, person, and always tries her best to take care of her friends when they're in trouble or need help. Sometimes, she just tries too hard, though. ^_^ Minako was the final addition to the team in the first season. As Sailor V, her guardian and advisor was Artemis, much like how Luna was to Usagi. Since it was determined the Usagi was the Moon Princess, Sailor Venus became the leader of the group. She often calls for everyone to transform, which is about all she does as leader. (just kidding, all you Minako fans ^_^)
