Rei is the 3rd of the Inner Scouts to appear, only a few episodes after Ami. Rei is know for her firey attitude, her Martial Arts, and her Fire Readings at her Grandfathers temple, the Cherry Blossum Temple.

As like Rei's personnality, her attacks mainly are that of Fire origin, and in the beginning of the series, was easily as strong as Usagi, maybe more so cause of her gunho kind of attitude. She is very close to nature, and respects all living things. She is annoyed alot by Usagi's lazy attitude, which usually results in pity fights that have to be broken up by the other scouts, Mamoru or Luna and Artemis.

Early in the series as well, Rei and Mamoru were orginally somewhat of a couple till the found out Mamoru's true idenity, and she respectfully gave him up to his true love, Usagi. Even though Rei does fight a lot with Usagi, they are close friends, and are a lot alike in the lines of pig-headness.
