Ami is the second scout, only to Usagi to appear in the series. In the 5th Episode of the Orginal Series she appears. She quickly becomes the Inner Senshi's sort of Intelligence. Always thinking, studing, and reviewing things with her Sailor Computer Luna gives her.

Ami's attacks are mainly based around water and ice, and are for a time more of a setup attack for Usagi or Rei to finish the job. Yet in later Series, she soon is able to do some more serious damage.

Ami's true past times usually consist of sitting quietly at home, doing exta credit assignments, reading, writing, or thinking of ways to improve her already perfect grades, grammer, and general politness. Usually Luna likes to point out to Usagi and sometimes the other scouts how if she had the work effort of Ami, she would not be getting 30's on her math tests.
