Mamoru Chiba, sometimes considered the Senshi of Earth is Sailor Moon's only real male star and hero. His first appearance in the series is when really he bumps in to Usagi in the street, and makes fun of her. Little did he know that Usagi was his future wife, and fellow protector of the planet.

Mamoru at first really can not control his ability to turn into Tuxedo Kamen(Mask) and is confused on why exactly he does turn into him. His dreams are filled with visions of a princess talking of a crystal, and he soon begins to sought after the Silver Imperium Crystal.

Tuxedo Kamen's infamous attacks are usually with a red rose, and his staff, but he also uses a black rose when he was Evil Prince Endyminion towards the end of the first season, and a White rose when he was Tsukikage no Knight in the beginning of Sailor Moon R.

Mamoru also can be best said as having one of the roughest times of all the characters. He dies twice in the series, and has been brainwashed, and has lost his memory along the way as well. Mamoru always seems to come back though, even with his long absence from Sailor Moon, Sailor Stars, the 5th season due to the fact that he was dead at the hands of Sailor Galaxia.

In closing, I feel a sorta real liking to Mamoru, maybe its cause his the only male to relate to in the series, and his just so damn suave :)
