Andrew spent the last half of 1999 working as a waiter on the Disney Wonder. It was a lot of hard work and long hours, but the tips were reasonably good. Living in small quarters on the ship took some getting used to, and catching naps between serving became routine. With some of the fall storms, they also visited some other Caribbean destinations like Cozumel and Key West, welcome changes from Nassau. Pat & Ron took a 4-day cruise on the Disney Wonder in October and had a good time. The dining aboard the ship ranges from ordinary (breakfast and the buffets) to good (Parrot Cay, Animator's Palate) to excellent (Triton's, Palo). Separate nightclubs and spa/pool for Adults make the cruise fine for a couple. Castaway Cay was ideal. Lots of beaches (although the adult beach was sandblown from a hurricane), good bars and no hassles. Nassau was just like the last time we were there 5 years ago. Crowded with lots of shops selling liquor and souvenirs. Pat got into training with Joanne Fleming-Plumb and has enjoyed her seminars and sessions. We've attended a few National Schutzhund shows in the US and Canada.
