Part Five: Who is this Character

  1. Create Background Story
This can often be the best part of creating a character. At this stage, the entire background of the character is explored, what is the character's name, where was the character born as a mortal, where was the character embraced, what happened before the character was embrace, what has happened to the character since. This is also where the player gets to describe what keeps the character going from one night to the next. This can be as elaborate or simple as the player feels comfortable with writing. There will be extra points awarded for good background write-ups.

  2. Determine Equipment
Let the storytellers know of any special equipment that the character possesses, from laptop computers and cell phones to shotguns and sharpened wooden stakes. There is a strict rule against physical contact and weapons in Mind's Eye Theater.
