For the past few months, sensitive kindred (especially those with any degree of Auspex) have been feeling nervous and irritable. Feuds have broken out over the slightest insult,and passing Kindred have remarked that the city seems to be a powderkeg waiting for a match. Some areable to describe what they are feeling. Something in the Blood is whispering to them, though they don't understand the words. The Beast speaks, and no one is listening.
Last night, just before sunrise, the moon slowly turned to blood-red, every bird took to the sky, all animals fled toward the south and west and panic struck the Kine. Looting and mayhem followed in the wake. This mysterious force threw many Kindred(Willpower 3 or less) into uncontrollable Frenzy, while the rest lay in their havens fighting the Beast. An enormous earthshaking explosion sounded for the north. As swiftly as it started, it stopped, and all woke as if from a dream. All eiyes then turned towards the north, where they beheld a dull orange glow on into horizon and a gigantic cloud, lightning lashing through it, rising into the sky. Looks like dawn is going to be a little late today.
The Prince has declared an emergency meeting this evening, all to meet at 8:00PM at the Brown Palace. All Kindred are to be prepared to use their influences and contacts to gather what information is possible about what happened, what caused it and what damage control must be done.
