The Anime Experience Presents. . .
Mark's Multiverse of

Okay, you're here. And, just in case you're not a Newtype/mecha- head/gearhead, you're probably wondering:

What is Mekton Zeta?

Mekton Zeta is the award-winning sequel to the previous games Mekton and Mekton II, all of which are written by R. Talsorian Games, Inc.

Mekton Zeta can be used to simulate any anime ever shown, if you so choose, or it includes ample tips on how to create your own series with a true anime feel. The only real complaint about the series is that there is precious little source material for the game, the only easily-accessable parts are Mekton Zeta, Mekton Zeta Plus, and Mekton Zeta Tactical Display, the core rules set. Zeta is the main rule book and has quick-and-dirty mecha design rules, Zeta Plus (The Advanced Technical Manual) has the Mekton Technical System and psionics rules, and the MZTacDisplay (GM Screen) includes an alternate, quick-combat system (MZ: The Movie) and the MZ OVA (One-shot Variable Adventure) format for episodes, which I have adapted for my SeriesBook campaign books because they maximize the GM's flexibility and minimize prep time. I STRONGLY recommend getting all three and using the systems set in place in the second two books for mecha design and combat.

Mekton Zeta Anime Campaign Setting:
Metal Soldier
Metal Soldier - This is my newest campaign setting.  The campaign doc is in beta right now, and will be refined throughout the campaign.
Metal Soldier Mekton Hangar - Here are the Mektons from the Metal Soldier setting. =D

MEKTON: INVASION TERRA

The Rapier is a standard medium Mekton from the Invasion Terra setting.  This variant is the Rapier One-B, a command-armor compatible version of the Rapier.

What the heck... that's a Mobile Suit!

IT'S A GUNDAM!

Any fan of Mobile Suit Gundam will recognize the RGM-79 GM (Gundam, Mass-production).  This is the version seen in the manga Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes (also a video game for the Sega Dreamcast).

We're on the road to
POWERSUIT CITY!
You can kill me for that lame Pokemon callback LATER.
Here is Melisma Sonata, a character for Andrew Dynon's Powersuit City campaign, and her Melisma XV powersuit!
Powersuit City vs. Masked Rider! If you thought those Sabanic little pukes got what they deserved in the Fanfic Senshi's writings, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Find out what happens when the BET (bug-eyed twit) smacks into Melisma Sonata in downtown Powersuit City! Nothing beats the Masked Rider like a little Sonata in the morning, with a twist of powersuit!

Technical Stuff: The picture of Melisma started as a freehand pencil drawing. I scanned it onto a computer as a Sharp B/W Drawing and used Adobe Photoshop to create the blur effect on the beam sword, the lens flare effect, and the more subtle shadings. The lens flare simulates a 105mm camera lens.

Virtual On: CYBER TROOPERS!
Temjin is the premier Virtuaroid in the arcade game Virtual On Cybertroopers.  See why I call this fantastic Virtuaroid "The Unknown Gundam."

Coming soon: Statistics for the Temjin "Ten-Eighty" production model!
