Notes: The YMS-52 prototype won the widest field of competitors that has ever existed, for the most lucrative military hardware contract in the history of the Republic: 100 billion credits in exchange for 40,000 suits (which comes out to 2.5 million credits per suit). With this in mind, five combat hardware teams created ten different designs, including one revolutionary design from a team of Republic Navy Academy cadets!

The YMS-52 carries a pair of medium missile launchers designed to make quick work of any threat unit, a standard beam carbine for main firepower and a 60mm gatling massdriver for defensive work.

In the end, the Odysseus’s hefty list of features and modest price tag won the day, and the Republic began to take delivery on its newest main combat mekton armor.
