Six Flags Over Texas to Build Tallest, Fastest, Most Technologically
Advanced Thrill Ride in Texas!
Themed after Mr. Freeze, Batman's arch rival in the upcoming Warner Bros. movie release "Batman and Robin", Mr. Freeze - The Coolest Coaster on the Planet will blast in to Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington, TX) late next spring. Guests enter through an abandoned ice cream warehouse that also serves as Mr. Freeze's hideout. The ride will launch guests upto 70 miles per hour in 3.78 seconds using 212 unique linear induction motors. After a vertical climb and an inversion, guests are rocketed 218 feet straight up where gravity propels the riders backwards through the ride.
