HTML is an acronym for Hyper Text Mark up Language, HTML is the basis for the entire World Wide Web, it tells your browser how to display the page. ever wonder how you go from 1 page 2 anouther just by clicking on a link? The HTML in a page tells your browser where to go when somthing is clicked on.
If you are a beginer it helps if you just practice the HTML in your e-mail signature box. If you know a little about HTML and want to build a home page, Try building one with tripod, angelfire, or geocities

To learn how to cut and copy, just follow these simple instructions:
first, find the Top of the text that you would like to cut, if it is the whole page just hold down your cmd key and press A... if it is just part. go to the top of the text, hold down the shift key and use your arrow button... this step higlights the text to cut.
next, hold down your cmd key and hit X, this will cut the text out of the area and store it for you
Than, go to your webpage builder, or where ever you want the text pasted, hold down your cmd key and press V, This will paste it!!!!!
If you would like to copy text of a webpage or you will need first to hit the find key, than type in the first word of the area to cut, the word will then be highlighted and you can use your arrows to hilight the rest of the text.... Than hit your cmd C to cut it and paste it with cmd V... good luck!!!
Building your own banners and Learning to transload
Making your own banners can be lots of fun, add them to your e-mail or webpages. you will first need a membership at tripod, geocities, or angelfire..I have found that tripod is the easiest place to use for this! below is some links to some of my favorite banner builders,
