In Memory George Peters Ballentine Born January 7. 1924. Left this earth June 30, 1999.

. Thanks to everyone that helped to get George his stone! The Ice Cream Cones is because George Loved Ice Cream soo much, Jesus is well that should be self evident and the hands represent all the bidders that helped the tombstone to be.

Some many years ago someone asked me to help George out with his getting groceries and other normal things in life. I didn't realize what a gift George was going to be in my life and what a wonderful journey we would take together as we became family in the heart of  God as we shared holidays and everyday life. He was born a little different, he lived a little different and most of the world passed him by afraid of that difference. How sad for the ones that never stopped and looked at the world through his eyes the eyes of a child. Now he lays in an unmarked grave. This won't be permitted (and it wasn't thank you). . There is something wrong about him being in an unmarked grave in a country that is so rich, something very wrong. Because he was poor in material things, because he was different, because  he didn't fit in the our country's ranking he shouldn't be forgotten, although the system would of liked to in both life and death passed him by. Making sure he has a stone is a very small way of making up for some of the injustice to the way the world ranks people. I know George is in the Fathers arms now actually George is probably telling him a joke and eating a dish of Ice Cream. He was good at making people smile.  Thanks George for the laughter and the love, you will always be a child of my heart. To raise the funds for his stone  I sold some of my religious articles on E-bay we raised all the funds needed for the stone and there were a few generous people that added more, thank you and my you be blessed  seven fold. People got wonderful religious items and George got his stone.

Gentle sweet meek soul for a moment the world was a hush.

As your soul flew heaven bound.

Many passed you by on this earthly road, but a few stopped

and great was their reward.

You didn't climb any lofty mountains, write any grand books, leave any great marks.

The small and humble workings were you task.

You had the gift of listening, of hearing what others really had to say, rare in deed.

For such a gift is given only to unselfish souls.

You also had the gift of laughter, ready to turn

a bad day into a good day and a tear to a smile.

Loving was also your task, of which you did so well

in an unconditional, undemanding, and understanding way.

But still to many you were the least of these to be passed by, if they would have only known

what they missed, if they could only see.

In the eyes of Wisdom, and Wisdom is God, the least of these

are the most.

The birds will sing a little softer,

the ice cream and cake you loved so much will taste a little less sweet,

at Christmas time the trees will glistening a little less,

But the heavens shall always shine brighter because you are there.

You were and are my brother in Christ, in many ways my son, my family and friend.

You were and are the wind beneath my wings.

I thank God for the great gift He gave me in you. You will be dearly missed and always a part of me.

Eternally loved.

Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee: or thirsty and gave thee drink?

Psalms 149:4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people, he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Psalms 70:5 But I am poor and needy; make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and deliverer; O Lord make no tarrying.

Psalms, I will sing unto to the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much. . .

Psalms, For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
