The Home Of Hardcopy

The earliest recording of DJ Shadow I have heard is Shadow's Legitamite Remix of a track by a group called Zimbabwe Legit. This was made before Shadow signed to Mo'Wax, but is still featured on the Headz2 compilation.

In/Flux and Entropy are Shadow's first two singles on Mo'Wax and are very highly rated , but I have not heard either so can't confirm how good they are. I can't find them anywhere by themselves, so I may end up buying the original Headz compilation, just for In/Flux.

I do have the Lost and Found (S.F.I.)/Kemuri(By DJ Krush) single, but on vinyl rather than CD, hence it doesn't have it's own page. It's not bad, but in my opinion one of Shadow's weakest releases. The single is worth having though for Kemuri, as this is a really top notch track and one of Krush's best. You can buy this at .

Camel Bobsled Race is a mix by Q-Bert of Shadow performing live, but I haven't heard this as it has received lame reviews and is reckoned to be no-where near as good as his studio work. This only what I've heard though, so it might be alright. You can buy this at if you want to try it out for yourself.

The most recent release by Shadow I know of is Pre-Emptive Strike, which is a compilation of his early work plus a few brief fillers. I haven't bought this, as I already own most of the tracks on single and am looking for the others. You can also buy this at if you can't get hold of all the singles.

A number of collaborations with other artists are covered in the Related section and don't forget Endtroducing's comprehensive discography.
