Dark Dance

by Shadowdance

My Dark One whispers in my ear
His intentions toward me clear
Pulling me up from my seat
Before him stand lightly on my feet.

Hand on hip, arm outstretched
To the music we start to step
Gently turns me round the floor
Later twirls me toward the door.

Patio stance, a far off gaze
Peek at him through veiled haze
Touches his hand against mine a while
His mysterious face, lights with a smile.

Brushes my face with his fingertips
And a sweet kiss upon my lips
This rogue has given me a start
For he has just stolen my heart.
