Nothing much bad here. Perhaps some adult inuendos. There is a lot of violence however. Lots of shooting and beating up. So if you're one of those people that spaz when people wave guns around you probably wouldn't like this.

The old west on crack.

Trigun is a fairly new anime to the west. It is about a guy named Vash the Stampede (AKA, The Humainoid Typhoon). Because wherever he goes destruction follows. Most of the destruction is caused by those trying to capture him though. They are trying to capture him for the $$60 billion(no the $$ is not a typo, it's "double dollars", which is apparently the form of money in this show.

Theres one strange thing though. No one knows for sure who "Vash" is, or what he looks like. The first episode is a big chase involving two insurance company ladies, Vash, this big fat man(along with his entourage) and some old west freaky looking guy.

The other episodes are good too. One is about how those two insurance girls get involved with this water scam. The next is about how this town is going to get destroyed by a gang of bandits and Vash is drunk through most of it. That's my favorite one.

Eventually I think the plot thickens. But I have only seen the first volume, so I wouldn't know. Something about Vash's brother wanting to kill him or something. *shrug* I'll have to put up some links for those of you who want to know more.

The music for Trigun is heavy metal-ish. Very good and fitting. The animation is fluid and high quality. Something that US tv animated shows are sorely lacking. If ever they decide to bring anime over for prime time I hope this is it. After Fushigi Yuugi of course!
