Boomer could see what was happening and cried out in concern. "Oh I'm sorry darling, I try not to ignore the pretty girls," he said, suddenly leaping towards her and firing. When his clips ran out he loaded others to fast to give Boomer any advantage. She was now hard pressed to destroy all the bullets coming her way before one of them eventually hit her. "I just can't help ignoring empty headed blondes," he said with a sigh. "Ignore this!" yelled Boomer forming one big time bomb and hurtling it at him. He lauged and leapt back, his ruse working. One of his bullets was only diverted by her next bomb and hit her in the thigh, knocking her down and out as her head hit the floor hard. "Y're gonna pay for that!" exclaimed Cannonball, blasting up behind him and slamming him into the wall. A two legged kick from Fatal Force sent Cannonball careening into some more cabinets. Fatal Force wiped blood from his lip and resumed his strategy of wearing Cannonball down. "Damnit," sighed Domino as she indicated to Warpath which files to upload from the computer terminal and helped him navigate through the network of paswords required to access that sort of information. "Can't you kids do anything right?" she said as she left Warpath to the information task and pulled out a gun to join the fray. She got off a shot at Fatal Force that grazed his thigh as he jumped out of the way. "Come on Domino," he said. "You are the only worthy opponent here." He fired rapidly in her direction as he took cover. Domino ducked and rolled through cover like an acrobat as she avoided his controled projectiles and they hit other obstacles. "You may have nailed me the first time, but now that I know the odds this is one game I'm gonna win," she said. She saw Cannonball to her left waiting for a signal to jump in and help her. 'Go help James' she mouthed. He looked a little reluctant, but went. "Keep talking and I'll know where to send my shots," said Fatal Force, firing another round. Domino had to roll and duck again to avoid. Now things had become more like a stand off. She would move towards him to get off a shot and he would send bullets raining down wherever he heard movement as Cannonball and Warpath scrambled to crack passwords and decode information before the system crashed on them realizing that they were intruders. Cannonball knew a bit more about computers than Warpath because of the New Mutants association to Kitty Pryde, a computer whiz. But both were hard put to keep ahead of the electronic security sistem.
Domino sits still behind a desk, hardly daring to breathe. The rain of bullets has stopped because Fatal Force has lost her. Although the sound of her heartbeat hammers at her ears, she can hear him breathing nearby. He becomes agitated as he can't find her anymore and starts randomly spraying bullets. "Amatuer," she thinks. A real pro wouldn't waste ammo like that. She braces and gets ready to make her move. She knows there's a chance he can hit her before she takes him out, but she's a lucky woman. Right now she's going to bet her life on that luck. She inches nearer to him without making a sound. When she feels she's close enough she gets up and leaps at him in one fluid motion. His eyes widden for a second and he brings his guns to bear. But that one second was enough. A kick sends the first weapon flying across the room and in a follow up move she slams his other hand into the file cabinets behind him. She then kicks him in the face, knocking him out. All done before he could pull a single trigger. "Men, all talk and no action," she sighs. "Yo Dom, we got the info," calls Warpath. "Right in time. Grab Boomer and Feral and lets get out of here." "Aww come on now, you wouldn't leave without your red-headed pal," calls a voice from the doorway. Domino truned to see a familiar figure dressed in red and black, with a mask over his face. "Deadpool, finally got away from the insane postal workers I see," she said chidding him for the recent time Cable sent him back to his boss via FedEx for attacking them. "Haha, laugh all you want Domino, but this little Irish could end up paying for you're jokes and you wouldn't be able to collect you're babysitting fee." "We can take him out," said Sam. "Oh puuleze! Didn't the previous encounter teach you anything about how ineffective you are against me? You southerners must have cowpies for brains." Domino sighed. "We can't attack while he has Siryn," she said. He had Siryn by the hair, behind him and unconscious. "What do you want?" asked Domino. "Well a little revenge would be nice, but not during work hours or the big bucks tend to run away, and then I have ta kill them." He said that with a sigh. "We don't really care 'bout you're personal problems," said Cannonball with his arms crossed. "Did I say you could speak doggy?" he asked, shaking Siryn up a bit. "And of course you wouldn't care about anyone else's cash problems. You mutant teams are all the same. No worries about money cuz some leader pays the way. All you have to do is be his obedient little puppies, right Cornball?" Cannonball just glared at him. "Anyways," said Deadpool turning back towards Domino. "If you turn over that gun totting loser dude you have there I'll be on my way and maybe you can get you're little friend back." Domino's eyes narrowed, considering the implications. "'Course I could keep thi nice little piece of work here. She does sing real nice even though I had to interrupt her little concert. But a live babe in my room would go so well with the posters on my walls." "You have a trade. Fatal Force for Siryn." "Great! Everythings all fine and dandy now," he said. Warpath and Cannonball were fumming, irritated by the mouth that wouldn't shut up and the comments he was making.
He walked in, dragging Siryn until he got to where Domino stood. He then grabbed Fatal Force by the hair and tossed Siryn's limp body to Warpath and Cannonball. "Have fun with her boys," he said with a laugh as he pushed a button on his belt and teleported away. "Damn!" said Domino as Cannonball and Warpath picked up Boomer and Feral and started dashing out the corridors carrying their fallen teammates. "Is it really such a loss?" asked Warpath as they ran. Domino had Siryn slung over the shoulder with her good arm and was right behing them. "I would have really wanted to know who sent Fatal Force here," she sighs as they scramble past the reassembling guards and into the IPAC, an air transport vehicle Cable had somehow aquired for them. The are in the air and away just as the goverment troops begin to bring an attack against them. "We got out just in time," comments Cannonball as he pilots the vehicle. Domino is in the back tending to her bullet wound. Feral and Siryn are stirring and Boomer is already awake, complaining loudly. "At least we didn't fail completely," said Warpath seeing Domino's grimace. "Coulda done better," she said. "But you culdn't have known you were going up against someone like Fatal Force and Deadpool," she admits with a sigh. "If'n I ever see that masked mercenary again he's gonna pay for the headache he's given me," comes Siryn's Irish lilt.
Cannonball and Warpath land the aircraft in Camp Verde a few hours later, and everyone piles out except Boomer, whom Warpath has to carry. "Watch it you big bohunk! You're jostling is hurting me," complains Boomer. "Sam can't ye tell ye're girlfriend to be quiet for a bit. Me ears are still ringing with all 'er complaints," said Siryn. "Trust me, not even Ah can make her shutup when she's like this," laughed Cannonball. "We've got company," growled Feral. "I ken smell her." Domino is the first to spot the young girl sitting on a crate and leaning against a supply shed. 'Did Cable bring her here?' she wonders. "I've been waiting for you to get back," says the girl in a voice that has just a hint of a spanish accent.
