★ Finally, something appears to be happening logically. Sing or Die (1997) is the best album DCT has produced as of the original writing of this page (Oct. 25th, 1997), and that's actually saying a lot! I have listened to all of their albums, and also Miwa's solo, 'Beauty and Harmony', and have found 'Sing or Die' superior in overall cohesiveness, and well as in the numbers of potential 'hit' songs. This album represents a radical departure from all of their previous albums in style and originality. It also features what must be the number one song of their careers to date: 'PEACE!' And, this is logical, if you can keep a creative song-writing musical group together long enough, and keep them from burning themselves out in the process - you would expect their songs to keep getting better.

There are 12 listed songs on the album, with a secret english track of 'PEACE!' included at the end. Apart from their title song, which seems to be just an artsy excuse for including their album title (something of a trademark move on their part), and the sultry 'Temptation', each selection appears to share in its own right to being a hit, and is reminiscent of Mariah Carey's debut album in that regard. My 'hit' list of the eclectic mix, from best down, would be as follows:

<1> PEACE! <6> Will to Love
        <2> Kero Kero <7> Moonlight
<3> Marry Me? <8> Dandelion Hill
<4> Song of Joy <9> Yes, I did
<5> Ahaha This is not love

Hey, I'd go so far as to give you samplers of each if I could.. but there is a limit to enthusiasm, ethically speaking. On the other hand, if Sony has its way, you be able to download their albums direct to MDs in another two years. In the meantime, I am working on a ranked list of all of my favourite 'Dream' songs. And, here is a review of their Wonderland'95 concert. -- Now you know what 'sugoi' is!

I'd like to repeat what I said to a friend here.. they are a national treasure of Japan. It would be sad if they ever left for the States, as has been the international trend.
