ASCRPWHLE

There is so much more to say, of course. As Sting said, "You still know nothing about me" Alas, we can each of us only go so far, and no farther. Solomon said, in essence, everything else apart from God in our lives is meaningless. Can we seriously contest that? I no longer can. I love myself, that is natural. I hate myself, that is life's experience. I love God, that is spiritual honesty. I love everything God has made, that is time in relationship with Him. I love people... deeply:

These are my conclusions. I have experienced them. I know them to be true. I have experienced the ultimate Truth. And He is God. I have spoken about this, and others greater than I have spoken about this. You can ignore our conclusions, but be careful. Everything written down is history. The more of history we ignore or count as irrelevant, the more we cut into the meaningfulness in our own lives, and eventually we die. It is a lie to say, "I exist, and all else is illusion." When we succeed in believing this ultimate Lie, then we have succeeded in blocking off our access to reality, and we die.

Dan Haseltine, of Jars of Clay, wrote these words:

Cynical, just your way	You play the doubting Thomas	Feel the scars and wipe the stains
So you fight, and retreat	And talk yourself out of believing	In any peace that you can't see
Blind words you call
Blind words will fall
You're logical, you can't find	Any reason to believe in love, you are blind
Crucify, and deny pass the blame and burn the mission	Till dust remains and wash your hands
Blind words you call
Blind words will fall
