Dragon Ball is the story of
Son Gokou, a brave innocent young
boy with incredible powers who
is plunged into a mystical
adventure that is played out in
exotic lands filled with noble
warriors, shape-changing
monsters, armies of ruthless
villains and a perverted old wise
man. And then a spunky,
teen-age girl companion
who is also a mechanical
genius named Bulma, Gokou is thrust wide-eyed into a place where magical
powers and futuristic technology exists side by side. Dragon Ball is
the inescapable battle of good versus evil, right versus wrong and
purt hearts versus empty souls. It's the continuing saga of the
quest for fervent dreams, the realization of secret innermost
wishes. Dragon Ball , began in 1985 on Japanese T.V.
The show was based on the popular Manga by Akira Toriyama.
Gouku meets a young teen girl named Bulma who is looking for the seven
magical Dragon Balls. They encounter villains such as Lord Pilaf, Yamcha
(who later becomes a friend). and a slew of exciting adventure!
In later episodes Gouku trains under the master of Kame martial arts,
Kamesennin. This perverted old master teaches Gouku the Kamehame-ha fireball
Kamisenen also teaches Kurin, and Gouku and Kuririn become friends.
Dragon Ball the T.V series was obviously a big hit in Japan and was attracting
even more attention, making Dragon Ball one of the most popular anima's.
