Don't get me wrong, but this movie is not a mushy romance flick. It
focuses more on the cruelty of war, and the struggles of two nations. This
is actually the most realistic fantasy anime I've ever seen, but then again,
I have not seen Record of the Lodoss War yet. Anyway, this is a very good
movie, with powerful animation rarely seen. Yes, it has blood, for all
you blood fans. The battles in this movie are also very organized don't-shoot-the-leader
European type fighting. Has many surprises. Some good some bad. This is
the story re-told by a dying man, who wishes the truth to finally be revealed.

A good series, with good animation. first tape is 45 minutes, the rest
85. For the most part, it's a "quest-like" anime.
