Hot Day with the Dukes
The heat index was 105°,but Sonny Shroyer, John Schneider, and Tom Wopat not only toughed it out--they put on a very entertaining show! The guys stuck around MANY hours for their fans in Northeast Alabama! The music was great, but the highlight for me was getting to meet Sonny and have this picture taken! He was very nice to everyone and it was a special treat to see his wife, Paula with him.

Nashville Reunion
Sonny guested on the TNN show while Tom Wopat was still hosting. They discussed how long it had been since the Dukes series began on CBS (the years surprised Sonny quite a bit) and the Reunion movie in the works at the time. Also mentioned was the injury Sonny sustained while filming "The Longest Yard". When the movie "Forrest Gump" was mentioned, Sonny was concerned that some University of Alabama football fans might have been offended by his portrayal of the legendary Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. I don't know if there is anyone who has not seen this movie--but if you haven't--RENT IT/WATCH IT!!!
