| Bryce2
is a true 3D Graphics program, understanding perspectives
is a fundamental aspect of the program. Sometimes you
want an object right in the middle of the viewport, with
a line of grassy hills way off in the background. This
can be achieved with vaying success in Bryce2, but
practice makes perfect. |
| Create
a new document, and add a terrain object. The viewport
should look like this: |
 |
| Now
this is great, but what if you want the mountain to be
way off on the horizon. Many would say to change the view
mode and work from there. I disagree. Later when you
build more complex landscapes you do not have that option
as many things are too crowded. I say we use the
repostion X/Z buttons on Edit screen. Buy switching
between the two you can send your terrain of happily into
the distance. |
| Once
far away give your terrain a bit more size because it
will have become very small, then give it a texture and
render. |
 |
| See
how the mountain is way off in the distance. As the
mountain gets further away even the details in the
texture become harder to see. |
