The Closet Kids
.
In January things were
fine, office space galore,
Room for storing all
our stuff, a locking private door.
In short we had the
B.R.U., and then it was approved,
To renovate the building,
our office must be moved.
.
So then the problem
did arise, where to move us to?
We looked around for
office space, there only were a few.
Our sights were set
on offices, the plans were quickly made,
Superintendant Marshall's,
the one we would invade.
.
The best laid plans
of mice and men, are subject to defeat,
When Trevor Jette found
us out, we knew we had been beat.
So now we're being punished,
for plotting overthrow,
We were pointed towards
a little room, and told where we couldgo.
.
Now having been defeated,
and resigned to meet our fates,
The Crime Prevention
Officers, are newly made cell mates.
For our tiny little
office, is smaller than a jail,
It's closer to a closet,
or a box for holding mail.
.
But still we keep our
hopes up, to see if we can find,
An office where the
two of us, have room to change our mind.
The room is such a tiny
one, we don't even have a phone,
And is even very crowded,
when sitting all alone.
.
So if anyone is listening,
please help us find a spot,
A place for Crime Prevention,
where we can move the lot.
We promise not to plan
out, further overthrows,
Counting towards our
moving day, on our fingers and our toes.
