Karate Man - Part One
.

Brian Hines and Donny Owens, were walking on their beat,

When a guy in Mitsy's Restaurant, beckoned from his seat.

They both went to investigate, wondering what was wrong,

It couldn't be too serious, and would not take them long.
.

The first thing that he asked them, was how to spell a word,

It was the strangest thing, that both had ever heard.

Galleleo, was the word, he asked them how to spell,

What would happen next, no one could really tell.
.

Suddenly the guy ran off, this was an eat, no pay,

With Don and Brian chasing him, they would save the day,

They quickly got him cornered, and then the fight began,

Don would be the hero, for he's Karate Man.
.

But this guy, was not impressed, with Donnie's fighting skill,

And it soon became apparent, that someone's blood would spill.

The first two punches landed, putting Brian on the floor,

Then Don moved in, determined to, even up the score.
.

The guy turned 'round and faced him, ready for a fight,

He threw a punch left handed, another with his right.

The first one landed solidly, cutting Donnie's nose,

As Donnie staggered backward, Brian then arose.
.

Now Don may have a black belt, but this guy would not be beat,

For he was black all over, from his head down to his feet.

To top it off, he is a nut, as crazy as a loon,

Whose brain is off in outer space, somewhere near the moon
.

Our Don is not a quitter, he would lead the way,

Quickly charging forward, he got back in the fray.

Helping Brian hold the guy, Rupert was his name,

Until the troops could get there, and join them in this game.
.

Then the war was over, with Rupert laid out cold,

There it was decided, that this story must be told,

And like every first run movie, that has a sequel too,

I guess you'll have to wait for, Karate Man - Part Two
.
