Horsing Around
.
Every Woman's Health
Clinic, the scene of all the fights,
Demonstrators sitting
in, demanding Unborn rights.
Police were called,
to move them out, take them off to jail,
Where all could stay
and spend the night, until they posted bail.
.
An interview just yesterday,
Corporal Fetterley of the PIC,
Said, "we must
have the paperwork, to male the charges stick."
Bring your toothbrush,
Donnie warned, to a member of the press,
A night in jail, they're
sure to spend, unless I miss my guess.
.
From now on, we will
take a stand, we will not horse around,
If the A.G. will not
back us up, charges will abound,
No more will we be sitting
with, egg upon our face,
No more will they be
granted, a period of grace.
.
With all this new found
openness, the press is filled with glee,
They all are wanting
interviews, with Donald Fetterley.
Bill Good from CKNW,
wants an in depth interview,
Preferably at noontime,
before Donnie's shift at two.
.
The Globe and Mail,
have also called, press from near and far,
A celebrity is being
born, and Don could be a star.
Maybe he could parlay
this, to a talk show of his own,
Eliminate that middle
man, he can do it all alone.
.
The sky could be the
limit, who knows how far he'll go,
First written word,
then radio, and then a T.V. show.
But first he'll need
a title, for this talk show on the air,
The Corporal's Comment,
is one that seems quite fair.
.
But these plans of super
stardom, are put on hold, I bet,
After talking to Chief
Stewart, Don's career goals have been met.
No more will Donald
Fetterley, speak with the great press corps,
Without the word of
God above, Don will speak no more.
