The Setup

It seems there is a beatman, made an error in the book,

Which caused some of his counterparts, to take a second look.

The stats appeared much higher, than they had hoped to see,

So the plot was started, subversion was the key.

They plotted with the Acting Staff, a memo was composed,

Requesting all their notebooks, so the matter could be closed.

Well Curt was in a panic, he knew nowhere he could turn,

He imagined his career was, about to crash and burn.

Everyone was in on it, Staff Sergeant to recruit,

The plot for Curtis Robinson, to receive a friendly boot.

So the plan was started, then set in motion too,

Poor Curtis was beside himself, he didn't have a clue.

The secret guarded closely, for forty hours plus,

Curt I'm sure imagined that, he soon would drive a bus.

He consulted with a union rep, who told him he was toast,

While everyone contained themselves, over Curtis roast.

.

But all too soon, the joke was done, we let him off the hook,

There really was no problems with, the Team 3 status book.

Now Curtis seems quite angry, revenge is on his mind,

One day he'll recover, his tormentors he will find.

.

Look on the bright side Curtis, the best ones all get teased,

Don't take it all too serious, your mind can now be eased.

Besides, you can take heart in this, no need to pick a bone,

When teasing you so easily, they leave other ones alone.
