Vice is Nice
.
There I was in plainclothes,
on assignment I was sent,
Cruising up and down the
street, hunting girls for rent.
I spied a likely candidate,
and pulled off to the side,
The targeted young lady,
jumped in for a ride.
.
Negotiations started fast,
a price was quickly set,
The girl was quite explicit,
of the services I'd get.
I signalled for the cover
team, who moved in for the kill,
They took the lass for processing,
much against her will.
.
When all was done, the girl
released, she came and spoke to me,
She said this interruption,
would not make her lose her fee.
So around the corner I did
drive, the lass had walked away,
She was waiting at the bus
stop, less than half a block away.
.
I stopped for her, and she
got in, and then we drove away,
Again she propositioned me,
and told me what to pay.
Now the signal, was flashed
again, for another easy stat,
The cover team could process
her, in thirty seconds flat.
.
Frantic tapping of the brakes,
got nothing in reply,
No cover team to bail me
out, no units driving by.
So I popped my badge, and
told her then, I really was a cop,
And I would be arresting
her, because she wouldn't stop.
.
This girl so cute and tiny,
would not be tough for me,
She was five foot two, while
I am six foot three.
A five foot stick of dynamite,
was what I captured there,
Then that girl exploded,
all fists and legs and hair.
.
Out of the moving vehicle,
and running to and fro,
Cover cars arriving, she
knew just where to go.
When suddenly she vanished,
and was nowhere to be found,
The dogs were tracking everywhere,
their noses to the ground.
.
The only explanation for,
this departure from the scene,
Is this is near the season,
of spooky Halloween.
When ghosts and goblins,
prowl the night, Witches come to stay,
That's the tale I'm sticking
to, of the "One Who Got Away".
