The Car Thief Beef
.
This story begins, back
quite a long way,
When first he was nicknamed,
Wrong Way McKay.
But lately, poor Walt, has
been looking quite pale,
Ever since he discovered,
he was going to jail.
.
His squad got together,
all the plans had been laid,
To set Walter up, so the
joke could be played.
On a call he was sent, to
the Woodbine Hotel,
To check on reports of,
a very strange smell.
.
When he got there, he leaped
out of his car,
Left his hat on the seat,
he was not going far.
Into the place, and on up
the stair,
Looking around him, and
sniffing the air.
.
Meanwhile down below, at
Walt's Blue and White,
A unit pulled up, and remained
out of sight.
They dumped broken glass,
all over the street,
Opened the door, beat a
hasty retreat.
.
When Walter came out, and
his unit was missing,
He broadcast by radio, he
was bloody near hissing.
For two hours next, Walt
drove around looking,
Blood pressure rising, the
poor boy was cooking.
.
Meanwhile the police car,
was quite neatly hidden,
In the underground lot,
so it could not be ridden.
Then the report, that the
car had been found,
It was really quite wet,
could Walt come around?
.
The whole squad was waiting,
photographers too,
For Walt to show up, and
face Squad Thirty Two.
The trap had been sprung,
Walt was fit to be tied,
He now will remember us,
after six months inside.
