another doctor in your new area.
If your move or vacation involves travel call ahead to hotels to see if they accept animals.Toll Free Numbers
Call ahead to the city information bureau for information on laws for animals. Hawaii requires that cats and dogs be quarantined for 120 days
Travel with a copy of your pets medical records.
Be sure your pet is wearing an identification tag. (usually with its name, your name, home address,telephone number and area code.)
Make sure you take your pet in for it's annual check up before you travel or when you settle in your new location.
When traveling keep the same feeding time as usual.
Us the same bowls that they us at home.(if possible)
Carry fresh water for them, and make frequent stops.
Never keep your pet in a closed up vehicle.(everybody needs fresh air)
If traveling between countries make sure you carry a rabies vaccine certificate.
Always keep your pet on a leash, when it is out of the car.(not everybody is a pet lover)
If your dog is not accustomed to traveling, try taking it on short trips before you leave on vacation.
Remember not all pets enjoy traveling, If yours doesn't,
ask your Vet for advice.
