Words that come alive,

and touch someone's soul,

so softly so gently, like

a whisper so small.

I give to you this white,

rose, that signifys pure

words, a trust is placed

inside not seen by a mortal

heart, and the words are

heard, by anothers heart.

There are some who write a

song, and the words are meant

for you. There are some who

write a poem, and this one is

for you.

As you speak the words within

your heart, they enter into mine.

My heart is drawn and senses that

its time I wasn't so blind.

My heart is reaching out to you

the best that I know how.

A friend like you is hard to

find, and how our friendship

grows.

As darkness settles in, and

I am all alone, my tears

fall on the pillow, and I

struggle to go on.

It takes but just one gentle

word from a special person I know

to make it worth my while to go

on alone.
