After saving Sonny's life Brenda went to Rochester with Ned. Brenda tries to call Sonny when the answering machine picks up and this is what she said... "Hi, if you're in the vacinity of my voice, I just wanted to call and tell you I was thinking about you." Sonny smiling picks up the phone "Hey!" as he tries to keep his excitement from showing through. Brenda laughing says "Are you screening your calls?" Sonny replies "Better safe than sorry" afterall. Brenda asks "Which am I safe or sorry?" in a flirtatous voice. Sonny responds that she is a category all by herself, he knew in his mind there was no choice. Brenda asked how Sonny had been feeling because she cared. Sonny told her to come find out for herself if she dared. Brenda told him she would love to but she was out of town Sonny replied "You don't feel very far." Brenda sarcastically responded that she did have a life until she had trashed her car. Sonny then asked Brenda how she'd gotten to Rochester without wheels for it was quite far. Brenda told him she had gone with a friend in a very nice car. Sonny with slight irratation asks "Is it someone I know" Brenda responded "You might, but I'll be home tomorrow." Brenda again asked how Sonny was feeling and all. Sonny said he had been much better since receiving her call. Sonny then told her that she was always there since it was her blood coarsing through his veins. Brenda said "The magic of modern medicine" but Sonny thought "How about just plain magic?" and after all these years that magic still remains. Brenda said "Good night" dreamily and hangs up the phone. Sonny says "I'm glad you called" in a dissappointed tone. The phone call is over and they both lay back on their beds. While sexy little fantasies fill in their heads.
