Steve Shanley on his way to winning the first midget race of the day.
The track was two laned and grippy for the first race, dried out to be slick but two laned in the second which was won by 7k Steve Killgour.
The Aucklander who shares the driving chores of the car with his wife won the 30 lap Rosetown Midget Feature feature from Craig Brunt (18k) and Dean Brindle (12k).
