This was after the end of the race. Shay Hambling was taken to the wall hard by Rick Campbell after the chequered flag. Apparently in the race to the flag as the two Super Stocks came off Pit Bend the #24A car hit the #17A machine and broke the red cars steering arm. The two cars went down straight together but when they went to slow down and turn into Cementry Bend the lack of movement in the #17A's front wheels sent both cars out of control!
