This CD really didn't live up to my expectations.
I thought it would be a load of "Hello! Orange Sunshine"-ish fun.
True, "Popstar", and "Radio" are both along the same lines, but I was very
surprised at the difference in the tracks. "Popstar" struck me as
very 80's and pretty cool. It's very catchy. "Doushiyou" is
another one of those songs that makes me think "The Ramones". It's
very heavy on percussion and good. My thoughts on "Hello! Orange
Sunshine" and "Radio" are located in my review of Fresh Jam "Cheese
Pizza" is one of my favorite songs, and only because it reminds me
of me and my boyfriend. See Fresh Jam for thoughts on track 6.
"Hyper 90's Chocolate Boyfriend" is a really cool song, because of the
instrumentals. Also, the chorus is very good. "Kikken na Futari"
is odd, I don't really like it that much. I really like "Christmas"
however, which is weird considering I hate the actual holiday. I
don't think I need to reiterate myself on "Jitensha". "Dynamite"=
Ramones. Very fast, very catchy, very fun, great song. On the
whole it's a very fun CD, just different from what I expected.
