HOw LONG WILL THE MEMBERS
CONTINUE TO
EVIL
Once again it is the end of another year , the time when most people reflect on their achievements over the past twelve months. What nightmares the Unions involved in Local Government must be having as they reflect on their behaviour and the lack of achievement for their membership.
Nightmare on Elm Street , would be a heavenly dream and Freddy Krueger would be a "Good Fairy"compared to the performance of Unions in Local Government.
To give a few examples of achievements ,or lack thereof ;
Federal Police Investigation of Union Election
Nervous Breakdowns
Compulsory Competitive Tendering Implemented at its extreme(Union
Agreements)
The sudden Death of the Welfare Officer
Law suits for Unfair Dismissals
Delegates left Unprotected
Financial Unaccountability
Mass resignations
Secret Meetings
The list is endless , the figure of 20% loss of membership over the past twelve months has been bandied around , at this rate of membership loss one Union will last approx for another three years.
Could this be the reason why attempts are being made to cancel the next Annual Conference.
As was pointed out in previous a previous Press Release , the members are paying their hard earned income to become serfs ,slaves and bondservants to "BUFFOONS" . Why would one pay approx $5 per week to be treated like an idiot , and when you express your thoughts you are attacked by the very people that are paid exorbitant sums to look after your interests.
Demand to see the creditientals of those that are paid these exorbitant amounts of money , you will soon discover that the Emperor is wearing no clothes .
How many more jobs will be lost in Local Government before there is a collective recognition as to the trick that is being played upon the membership , and in particular the White Collar employee , these Council Amalgamations will decimate the employment opportunities of all the clerical staff.
Career paths will stop abruptly at the level of Customer Service , and these being frontline and stressful positions they will be mainly casual employees , employed by Labor hire companies. The deal has already been done with Unions , the scenario being that the Labor hire companies pay the Union Fees for these employees.
The Federal Police investigation into the recent Election , is still continuing.
The report by K.P.M.G. , into allegations about impropriety and financial irregularities is alleged to have been presented at the last Executive meeting , and then al copies were returned and destroyed , why has this complete report not been promulgated for all members. This report cost according to some sources , in excess of $30 000 ,of members money.
This was not the message that The Clean Up The Unions in Local Government Team wished to bring to the membership this festive season , but there is no good news in sight for members , as these Pariahs of the Union Movement continue their feeding frenzy , as if there was no tomorrow.
While the members funds continue to be used to further political careers of their employees , then the rank and file members will continue to be disadvantaged.
Some have suggested that this Union is Lead by Onans` run by Onanists` entirely for the purpose of Onanism.
And going by their performance . we can do naught but agree........
An appropriate New Year Resolution would be ;
