In our last Press Release we focussed on the disgraceful involvement of your Union becoming involved in the controversy over the  use of illegal Drugs , the supply of utensils for its uses and the provision of facilities for the use of these "A" class drugs. We also pointed out that by implication , and membership of this orgainiznation all members will be assumed to  support these outrageous opinions.We also refreshed your memories by displaying the front page of the Sun-Herald 1/2/99 , with a picture of a 13 year old child injecting himself with heroin with a state supplied syringe.

Is this what you want for your children?

We think not!

Is this a case of Union Employees using members and their funds to further their own political ambitions?

Would you ,the employees in local government , rather your Union attend to the provision of "Job Security" , "Wage Rises" , Improved Condition," , instead of  providing utensils and injecting facilities for those who are (sadly )addicted to drugs

We are also concerned , by the reckless article on the Child Protection Act.

It would appear . that this article was blatantly written in an  attempt to scare Local Government Employees.

We have made inquires , and have not found one instance of Child Care workers big stood down for reasons associated with these disgraceful statements

. These statements were apparently made  to include a whole range of Local Government Employees ,who would have little or no reason to be involved with Child Care or for that matter Children.

But who choose not to join a Union.

This is another despicable scare campaign , against those employed in Local Government , and specifically targeted at areas where the members are highly educated , and have to put it in the vernacular ;

These members have

"Sussed out these Shylocks"

We are confident like the Merchant of Venice who demanded his pound of flesh , these unreasonable and irrational people will receive their just deserts.

To bandy around the new legislation on Child Protection , with a particular emphasise on the word 

"PAEDOPHILIA"

is totally unwarranted , capricious , irresponsible , and an reckless act .

These people are displaying nothing but contempt for those that pay their wages , by even thinking that members who are much more highly qualified than some of these illiterates , would be taken in by such an obvious attempt to scare employees with false information.

The Big Australians $3.8 Billion Loss

It is with great concern that we report on the B.H.P. dispute , the relevance to Local Government members is basic , these people are in main , earning  twice the average wage that the local government employee is earning. More than 50% of the B.H.P. employees want , to work on individual contracts. They are again in the main earning a better income through these contracts. The protestors at Pilbara , have , "according to locals" , been imported by the red raggers in the Union movement to stir up trouble in this usually peaceful and prosperous community.

We have also examined the balance sheets of this big Australian "B.H.P." , and it is obvious , even to ourselves , that it is in deep trouble. They must rationalise their operations . Are these Trade Unionists , giving both B.H.P. , and the "DRYS" , in the Howard government the perfect reason to close down plants which although profitable are excess to needs.

Some of us on the "CLEAN UP THE UNIONS IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT TEAM ", have had experience with this type of machination , in particular how the large industries in Europe were dismantled through the provocation of the workers.

We are also deeply concerned with threat of attacks on our nation by alien Trade Unions , some of these have threatened to stop our trade with Japan and South Korea. We would ask you to examine which from where these Trade Unions emanate .

Could it be that they are from other countries that are also exporters of coal.?

To collaborate with these foreign organisations is treason.

Is this the Unions at work?

REMEMBER THE UNION SIEGE OF OUR PARLIAMENT HOUSE

Bill , Are you going to the Union Demonstration. Ben , You've gotta be kidding , my next door neighbour went to the last one and got caught up with all the Union standover merchants. Ended up convicted of assault , one months jail ,$500 fine , lost hist job, Superannuation benefits, and sick leave. Paying the Union Protection Money  didn't help , they dropped him like a hot potato .  Bill, I think i`ll get out of this Union business before its too late , my 3 kids have another 10 years at school .
