The rats are now scavenging for some credibility

Union members , cast your minds back to the last Union Election .

Yes! The election with 20 000 missing ballot papers , remember the leaflets that were shoved under your windscreen wipers , the leaflets stuck in toilet cubicles in the workplace , leaflets proclaiming that it would be an end to cronyism , Increased Rank and File involvement , No Privitisation , greater accountability , increased membership , and all other sorts of promised largesse.

More like increased Rats and Lies involvement?

We are asking

Where are these promised benefits?

Have all these benefits been reserved for the members of the secret branches , those that meet in dark corners selling out the members conditions or trading one employee for another?

There has been an overall loss of membership , in excess of 10% , the deficit between income has increased by more than 15% , the funds realised from the sale of the building have almost been dissipated on farcical industrial action. Privitisation is a reality , and the after the investigation into the debacle of "Pacific Power" , the electricity industry will be privatised.

In real terms members have had a 10% reduction in wages , the only people to benefit were councils working with Contracts and utilising the benefits of Competitive Tendering.

This Union has been unable to negotiate a new Award , and after all the hype of the Olympics , the L.G.S.A. , will dictate the terms of any agreement. One must question the relationship between this Union and the L.G.S.A. , and the possible conflict of interests.

There is also the conflict between the interests of the Australian Labor Party and this Union?

You cannot serve two masters , and the Australian Labor Party does not support the working men and women of Australia. In fact the Australian Labor Party , supports Globalisation the very Cancer of our society.

It is time to reject the Union Movement as a relic of the past , and consign it to the dustbin of history.
