Why wasn't someone watching,
when evil came to call,
Why couldn't something stop her,
before her actions hurt us all?
Why wasn't someone watching,
when her manipoulation started,
Before she had the chance,
to leave us stunned and broken hearted?
Why wasn't someone watching,
couldn't anybody see?
Danger lurking, oh so close,
this wasn't meant to be!

over Selena on that day,

and why did she have to pay?
She had done nothing wrong,
she was innocent and still;
Her life was taken; what happened to,
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"?
There's nothing left for us to do,
but shed a tear and grieve,
For she is gone and won't be back,
it's so hard to believe.

So we might not have lost her,

Although Selena's gone now,
