| Lauralanthalasa is the daughter of the Speaker of the
Sun, the Qualinesti ruler. She became infatuated with the half-elf Tanis
at a very early age, much to the dismay of both her father and her brothers
Gilthanas and Porthois. When the companions visited Qualinost and brought
news of the true clerics's return to Krynn, Laurana told Tanis how she
felt. When the companions left she snuck out of the elven capital and secretely
trailed them. She was shortly discovered and immediately saw her first
battle - the heroes had run in to a giant slug. On her travels with the
heroes she was forced to grow up very quickly, abandoning her childlike
mannerisms. Later in the war she became known as the Golden General, helping
plan attacks and raising the morale of the troups. Laurana devised the
plan that upset the attack of the blue dragons against the High Clerists
Tower.
After the war she married Tanis and together they had Gilthas (named after her brother Gilthanas). |
