They are classfied in groups of subject matter: Reading / Language Arts, Math, Social Studies / Science, Religion, and Other.

c.1964, this is a unique first dictionary. It’s not a picture book, but rather a dictionary in 2 parts. First the words are categorized in lists like “Words for People” or “Words for Things we Do”. Childrne get a sense of parts of speech by these groupings. The last half of the book defines the words.

ELEMENTARY LINEAR ALGEBRA
Inside it says, "This book is intended for use at the freshmen and sophomore levels as a two quarter or one semester course in linear algebra.." However, it was written in 1968 when standard requirements were more stringent, so it may even be comparable to 11th or 12th grade in today's public schools. It is just a text, very thorough in explaining and lots of examples, but there are no assignment problems or workbook.

This is a high-school level book, c.1996, used by one student only, this book is virtually BRAND NEW. Units include The Basics of Life; Genetics; Change and Diversity; Monerans, Protists, and Fungi; Plants; Invertebrate Animals; Vertebrate Animals; Human Biology; Organisms and Environment. Every chapter (several in each unit) has activities, review at the end, questions to check for understanding, and a section for everyday applications. It’s an easily understood text all about Biology, and would be fine for self-teaching. One word of caution, Unit 3 (Change and Diversity) has 4 chapters and they are all evolutionist. Maybe an opportunity to learn about the falsehoods of secular teaching, and can be used in a different way than the book intends.

This book approaches history by looking at 13 cases studies that have shaped our society. Some of the case studies are John D. Rockefeller and the Standard Oil Trust, Deregulation of the Airline Industy, Factory Farming, The Threat of Global Warming, .. etc It's sort of a recount of stories that have made headline news, and have gone on to impact our world for years (and sometimes generations) afterward. A great base knowledge of practical history beyond the "names, dates, and places" of traditional history texts.
