In March of 1997, early one morning, some Christians who were having morning coffee together in a chat room began talking about the influx of satan into our society. The feeling was palpable.. satanists were taking an active role in destroying the online fellowship of Christians.

Matt 12:30 - He who is not with me is against me.

These satanists are also known as Wiccans. They will deny being satanists, claiming that their religion doesn't even recognize anyone named satan, and that satan is purely a Christian belief. However, they do worship a "horned god named lucifer". Sound familiar?

2Cor 11:14-15 - And no wonder, for satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness.

The Wiccans gained acceptance among Christians online, only to then try and convert the weaker ones to their beliefs, a belief that rejection of Christ is the way to peace. The conversion is a very slow and gradual process. Words are twisted, people confused. An example of this is that I was once told that our own God proclaims that we are to love satan... it says so in the Bible! Aghast, I rebuked this false teaching, asking for even a shred of justification. I was told that God tells us that we are to love our enemies, for even a thief can love another thief. And God also tells us that satan is the enemy. Ergo, they explain, we are to love satan. THIS IS BLASPHEMY!

Col 2:8 - See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

We are not to love the evil one. We are to hate him. We are to seek protection under the blood of Jesus from the evil that satan brings to the lives of every one of us. The Lord God DETESTS evil.

Deut 18:10-12a - Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.
2Cor 6:14 - Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

So was born the email prayer chain. The Wiccans had subscribed to Christian Prayer Mailings, in order that they could pray to satan for the requests we had intended for our Lord and for our brothers and sisters in Christ to hear. Many requests are of a very personal nature, and many felt violated, knowing that personal information had been shared with satanists.

This website is the next step in the growth of that prayer chain. We have been 35 members strong for 7 months now, and MANY prayers have been answered along the way. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness to those who love Him!

You've probably figured out that the Holy Spirit has put quite a burden on my heart regarding this matter. As Christians, we are under attack now more than ever before, and it is in binding together and standing on GOD'S HOLY WORD that we will point the way for others to follow in their growth with Jesus Christ.
