Well...Static Box started when Inki and Manley met as wee lads. Inki still had a buzz cut and Manley probably had a mullet still. They eventually picked up instruments, learned to play, started writing songs, and wound up where they are now. They were in various other bands throughout their long illustrious careers, such as:
1. Gunpowder Thumb with Jared Smallridge on vocals and ye olde Edward Blake on drums. They never played a real show.
2. Soo/Furious Heifers with Josh Smallridge replacing Jared. At that time Jared went off to be a rock star with Shockma. Soo/FH played numerous shows in their lifetime. They played the Salem Barn with Malicious Intent (the Mark years.) They played the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport WV (how punk.) Quite possibly the highlight was Lindsey Joyce's infamous Halloween Party '96. That band went on hiatus when Edward Blake left us all.
3. Mudge with Jason Adams on drums, Josh on vocals, and James Richard on second guitar. Head made one guest appearance. This band was created to play shows at BHS only. They played Halloween '97 and it was a pretty big success. Everyone seemed to dig it. The show was a variety of cover songs and strange Halloween Get-up.
Well that about covers it. What will the future hold for Static Box? Only time will tell.
