In the morning I woke up to the phone ringing. It was Taylor.
"Hello?"
"Hey. Do you still want to go swimming today?"
"Sure. Let me make sure my mom didn't have any plans."
I ran down stairs and asked her. She said that it was fine because she was going to be at work all day today again.
"Ok, yeah. But I have to go shopping for a bathing suit," I said reminding Taylor that I had forgot mine.
"Ok, thats fine. So I guess I will pick you up in about an hour. Oh, and you don't mind if Haley comes do you?"
"Oh, no thats ok, he can come," I said, even though I didn't really want him too.
"Ok great, see you in about an hour then."
"Ok, bye"
"Bye"
Great. Haley's coming. Just what I wanted, to see Haley again so he can harrass me again like yesterday. Maybe I was giving him a hard time, maybe he was having a bad day or something. Oh well, whats done is done. I will just have to make best of the situation.
I hopped into the shower and was out in no time. I still had an half an hour to kill until Taylor came over. I decided that I will call my dad. I didn't know if he was going to be home or not, but if thought that it was worth a shot.
"Hello?"
"Dad?"
"Haley! How are you sweetie?"
"I am great! Dad your never going to believe this. Not only did I get to meet Taylor, but we really hit things off and now I am his girlfriend, or he is my boyfriend, or however you want to look at the situation."
"Haley! Thats excelent!," My father exclaimed.
"Thanks dad. Well I just really only wanted to say 'Hi', so I guess I will let you go. Actually, Taylors picking me up in a few minutes, so I actually have to go."
"Oh really? Where are you going?"
"We are going to go swimming. We went rollerblading yesterday, I had a blast!"
"Thats great Haley! Well, I don't want to make you late, so I guess I better let you go."
"Ok dad. I love you!"
" I love you too Haley! I hope you have a great time with Taylor today."
"Oh don't worry, I will."
"I know you will. Bye Haley and thanks for calling."
"Bye dad."
When I hung up the phone with my dad, there was a knock at the door. I raced down the stairs and opened the door, only to find Taylor standing there.
"Hey!"
"Hey, ya ready?"
"Yea, I just have to get my bag. You can come in if you want too."
"Ok, I think I will," Taylor said as he entered the house and stood at the doorway of my front door.
I ran up to my room and grabbed my bag which had my sunlotion, sunglasses, keys, and money in it.
"Ok, lets go," I said as went down the steps.
Taylor opened the front door for me and I walked out, followed by Taylor. I double checked the locks and when I saw that they were locked, we left my house and went searching for a bathing suit. The first store we stopped at, had many bathingsuits that I liked, so I decided to try one on. It was pink, blue, and purpled stripped. I put it on and it fit perfectly.
"Ok Taylor, we can go now. I found one."
"Ok," Taylor said as he walked out of the store, while I payed for it.
I tossed my new bathingsuit into my bag while we were walking down the street to get to Haley's house. We finally reached Haley's house. He was outside waiting for us. We picked him up and walked down the street to the pool. When we got to the pool, we signed in and found a table. We put all of our personal belongings at the table. While Taylor and Haley were putting suntan lotion on, I went to the girl bathroom and put my bathing suit on. When I got back to the table, I layed my bag on the table along with Taylor's. I reached in my bag and pulled out my suntan lotion and started to spread it all over my body.
"Want me to get your back for you?" Taylor asked me.
"Yes please," I said as Taylor poured lotion into his hand, then rubbing it all over my back.
"Ok, your done. Everyone ready to get in now?"
"I am," I said.
"Me too," Haley said.
And with that we were off into the pool. 'Ya know, this is going to be ok. He hasn't even looked at me, maybe I was just being to precautious. I think I will give him another chance' I said to myself. ' I mean if Taylor likes him he can't be that bad'. A little later, I soon found out that my predictions were 100 percent wrong.
