Chapter 6

The drive to the airport was long and boring. My dad said that I could put in a cd, so I reached back to the back seat and get my carry on bag and opened it. I searched around until I found my 'Live From Albertane' cd. I pulled it out of my red bookbag and opened the case, taking the cd out carefully. I carefully turned on the cd player and opened the disk drive. I placed the cd in the disk drive and closed it. Before to long I heard Taylor's beautiful voice say "COME ON".

"I'm comin Tay," I said back at the cd. This time I was serious too.

By the time 'Man From Milwaukee' had finished playing, we were pulling into the airport. I reached back behind me once again and pulled my red bookbag up to the front. I opened my book bag and pulled out the case to it while I opened the cd disk drive at the same time. When the cd slid out, I picked it up and placed it back into its case. I placed my cd back into my bookbag just in time to see my dad pull into a parking space. We got out of the car and grabbed all of my things. When we got into the airport we checked all of my luggage in and then I went to the bathroom. Now we were off to find my flight attendent. We walked over to a desk and asked them at what gate my flight was gonna take off. He pointed us in the right direction and we were off. We found the gate and my flight attendent was waiting right there for me. My dad handed me my carry on bag and we said our goodbye's. My flight attendent took me on the plane and showed me where my seat was. I sat down and got situated. Before I knew it we were off on a two hour and 19 minute flight. When I heard the pilot say that we could turn electrical thing on, I pulled out my diskman and put in the Jack Frost soundtrack and played Good Lovin' over and over and over again. It was my favorite song. I looked down out my window for awhile. Then the man beside me had his laptop out and so I watched him work on it for awhile. I guess he was tired of working on it cause he asked me if I wanted to get on-line, so I did. Luckily for me he had AOL so I signed on my screen name and saw that Taylor was on, so I IM'ed him and told him that I was on a plane and was about ready to land. He couldn't belive it. A little bit later the pilot said to put all electronic things away so I told Taylor that I had to go. It was kind of funny because he said that he had to leave to come and pick me up. I couldn't believe it, in 20 minutes I would be landing and within the half hour I would finally get to see and meet Taylor for the first time.

The plane finally landed. Everyone was getting off the plane. I grabbed my things and my flight attendent came and got me. We got off of the plane and started walking up the airway tunnel. I finally got out of the tunnel and I saw my mom for the first time in awhile.

"MOM!" I exclaimed as I ran up to her, dropping my things on the floor and hugging her.

"Haley, I have missed you so," my mother said to me.

I felt someone tap me on the back. I turned around and I saw Taylor for the first time. He handed me my carry on bag.

"Here, I think you may have dropped this."

"Taylor? Is that you?" I asked in amazement.

"Yeah, its me in flesh and blood."

I stuck my hand out for him to shake, but instead he hugged me. I can't describe the feeling I was going through. This tingely feeling ran up my spine.

"Lets go and get your luggage from the baggae claim," my mother said.

I started to reach for my bag but Taylor insited that he carried it, so I let him. We arrived at the baggage claim and I got all my suitcases. It wasn't until we started to walk out of the airport until I noticed something.

"Hey, wheres Isaac and Zac?" I asked.

"Oh, they decided stay home and help mom with dinner since she was running a little behind schedule," Taylor answered with his sweet deep voice.

"Oh, ok," I said as we got in the car and drove off from the airport.

The ride to my mom's house was very quiet. Taylor and I didn't talk very much, which surprised me because he always had something to say. We finally pulled up into my moms driveway and she parked the car.

"Mom, aren't we gonna take Taylor home first?" I asked as we got out of the car and opened the trunk.

"Oh, Taylor is going to stay and visit with us until its time to go to his house for dinner," My mom replied.

"Oh ok, thats great!" I said with excitement in my voice.

We grabbed my bags out of the car and went into the house. My mom had her hands full with my bags so when she got in the house, she placed them down on the floor in the kitchen.

"Haley, I am going to leave your bags here, so when your done putting the bag Taylor has in your room, come back and get these two."

"Here," Taylor said handing me my backback. He walked over to the bags my mom had sat down and picked them up. "What did you put in these bags? bricks?" Taylor asked in a laughing joke.

"What do you expect, I am a girl. Girls always over pack."

Taylor followed me up to my room and placed my suitcases down on my hardwood floor. I noticed that there was now a computer in my room so I turned it on and it had AOL installed on it. 'Great' I thought to myself. 'Now if Jenna is on I don't have to call her'. I signed on to AOL and sure enough, Jenna was on. I IM'ed her and told her that I got here ok. I also told her that Taylor was in my room and well, lets just say she started to freak out.

"Haley? I don't really feel to well. You don't mind if I lay on your bed and take a little nap before dinner do you?" Taylor asked me with a pale face.

"No go ahead, I don't mind. But wait a minute. Come here."

Taylor walked over to me where I was sitting in my chair at the computer. I felt his head with my hand to see if he had a temperature. I couldn't tell by my hand if he did.
