Where do you go to when you sleep?
When the daylight has finally gone?
When the moon has cast a silvery glow,
and you are waiting to greet the dawn?
Where do your dreams take you?
As the stars begin their dance with the moon?
As evening's shades draw to a close,
and the sunset has receded all too soon.
Do you dance among the faries?
Does your laughter ring in the air?
Do you frolic and play in the land of nod,
with pixie dust shimmering in your hair?
I watch you sleep my beauties,
and pray your dreams are this way.
That no nightmare shall ever invade your sleep,
and you awaken happy to greet each new day.
