Movie Review : Achanak

Achanak is a title which is a bit misleading because everything which happens in the movie is well planned. The story line is very feeble and there is nothing great to talk about the performances either. The saving grace of the film is the cameo from Jonny Lever which is hillariously interesting in a triple role. Manisha is looking slimmer and seems to have transferred the few extra kilos to Govinda. Rahul Roy's role is nothing to crow about. Sadashiv Amrapurkar as usual is at his evil best.
Jaffery has two sons : Govinda and Rahul Roy. Govinda is a Car racer who meets Manisha at a car rally in Shimla and falls in love(what else can you expect). Rahul marries Farah. Sadashiv, the family lawyer, plots to kill Rahul and succeeds by using Farah. Manisha is charged with the murder by Sadashiv inorder to save Khandan ki Izzat. Jaffery is also slained by Sadashiv and the plot reveals that Farah is equally involved in these crimes. The rest of the story revolves about Govinda hatching a plan to take revenge and to save his lady love from the law makers...
